What changes after this module

Experts stop being the bottleneck, they encode their hard-won judgment into AI assets (knowledge systems, decision support, quality rubrics, playbooks) that scale their expertise beyond their own hours, with a guardrail against hollowing.

Who should attend

Senior specialists. Intermediate: regular AI users.

Programme

This agenda is indicative. Content, sequencing, and examples are adapted to your team's context, tools, and objectives.

Before you start

  • A laptop, an approved AI assistant, and an approved no-code assistant / knowledge-base builder
  • A corpus of your own reference material, past work and decisions to draw on (anonymised)
  • One recurring expert task you’d like to scale
  • Completion of X2, no coding required
Day 19:00–10:30Making tacit knowledge explicit: Surfacing the heuristics, rules-of-thumb and standards you apply without thinking: the codification mindset.
Hands-onExtract and write down the decision rules you actually use for the one recurring expert task you’ll codify across both days. These rules feed every asset you build.
10:30–10:45 · ☕ Coffee break
Day 110:45–12:30Prompt & context assets: Encoding your judgment into reusable prompts and context that make any assistant reason more like you.
Hands-onBuild a reusable expert prompt/context pack from your codified rules and test it on real cases. Watch for where nuance flattens and a rule you rely on didn’t survive being written down.
12:30–13:30 · 🍽 Lunch break
Day 113:30–15:30Your knowledge system: A personal, source-grounded assistant over your own reference materials, so answers are grounded in your sources rather than generic (no-code).
Hands-onBuild a source-grounded knowledge assistant over your corpus and query it on real questions.
15:30–15:45 · ☕ Coffee break
Day 115:45–17:00Day 1 review: Pressure-testing what you built.
Hands-onTest your prompt pack and knowledge assistant on fresh cases and note the failure modes.
Day 29:00–10:30Encoding your quality bar: Turning “good” in your domain into an explicit rubric an assistant: or a colleague: can apply.
Hands-onWrite an evaluation rubric that captures your quality standard and score sample outputs with it.
10:30–10:45 · ☕ Coffee break
Day 210:45–12:30Decision-support workflows & playbooks: Assembling prompts + knowledge + rubric into a repeatable workflow others can run.
Hands-onAssemble a decision-support playbook for your task, end-to-end.
12:30–13:30 · 🍽 Lunch break
Day 213:30–15:30Guardrails against hollowing: Designing the asset so it augments judgment (keeps humans thinking) rather than replacing it; a codified asset can level a junior up or let them abdicate: you decide which: and where human sign-off stays mandatory.
Hands-onAdd human checkpoints and usage guidance to your asset, then hand it to a colleague and watch them use it.
15:30–15:45 · ☕ Coffee break
Day 215:45–17:00Handover & wrap: Packaging your expertise for real use.
Hands-onRefine from the colleague test and package the asset (prompt pack + knowledge assistant + rubric + playbook).

Deliverables

  • Codified decision-rules document
  • Reusable expert prompt/context pack
  • Source-grounded knowledge assistant
  • Quality rubric
  • Decision-support playbook with human checkpoints, usable by colleagues
