What changes after this module

Who should attend

Senior specialists. Advanced: experienced practitioners.

Programme

This agenda is indicative. Content, sequencing, and examples are adapted to your team's context, tools, and objectives.

Before you start

  • A laptop and an approved AI assistant
  • Your team/discipline context (who you influence, current AI practices)
  • Ideally the assets you built in X3, to share as standards
  • Completion of X3
19:00–10:30Setting the standard for your field: Defining acceptable AI use, quality bars, and where human sign-off is non-negotiable for your discipline: mapped to recognised frameworks (OECD, UNESCO, ISO/IEC 42001) so the standard is defensible, not just your opinion; this standard becomes the reference your adoption guidance (Block 3) rests on.
Hands-onDraft an AI practice standard for your discipline (acceptable use, quality bar, mandatory human-sign-off thresholds).
10:30–10:45 · ☕ Coffee break
210:45–12:30Mentoring that builds expertise: The research risk that juniors default to Self-Automation and “no-skilling”: reviewing AI output is not the same skill as producing it, and juniors need enough baseline expertise to judge what AI gives them (they can’t evaluate what they couldn’t have produced); coaching Centaur/Cyborg habits, and giving juniors problems to solve (not finished outputs to check) so expertise compounds instead of hollowing.
Hands-onDesign a mentoring / onboarding approach that builds, rather than replaces, expertise in your people, using your Block-1 standard as the quality bar juniors grow toward.
12:30–13:30 · 🍽 Lunch break
313:30–15:00The expert as authority in adoption: Advising your organisation on what to trust, what to pilot, and what to require oversight for: and why you, not a junior or a vendor, must guide this.
Hands-onBuild a “trust / verify / avoid” guidance sheet your organisation can use for AI in your domain.
15:00–15:15 · ☕ Coffee break
415:15–16:15Staying ahead of the frontier: A personal system to track what changes, re-test your frontier map, and keep your judgment current as models and tools move.
Hands-onBuild your “staying current” system: sources, cadence, and a re-test routine.
516:15–17:00Your leadership plan & wrap: Consolidating into how you’ll lead your discipline.
Hands-onFinalise your discipline standard + mentoring plan + trust/verify/avoid sheet + currency system (all for the SAME discipline) into a 90-day leadership plan; optional quarterly-refresh enrolment.

  • AI practice standard for your discipline
