Programme

This agenda is indicative. Content, sequencing, and examples are adapted to your team's context, tools, and objectives.

Before you start

  • The company’s AI/data policy to hand
  • W1 or equivalent baseline
  • Never use identifiable candidate data in general tools
19:00–10:15The high-risk line: Why employment and hiring AI is HIGH-RISK under the EU AI Act: human oversight, bias audits, transparency, logging and GDPR’s Article 22 line on automated decisions: and what that means day-to-day.
Hands-onAudit a sample hiring workflow against the high-risk checklist and mark where human oversight is mandatory.
10:15–10:30 · ☕ Coffee break
210:30–12:00Recruiting & sourcing: JD writing, sourcing and structured screening support: the AI assists, it does not decide.
Hands-onDraft a bias-checked JD and a structured screening rubric for one real open role, then score sample CVs under the human-in-the-loop rule.
12:00–13:00 · 🍽 Lunch break
313:00–14:30Onboarding & employee support: Onboarding journeys, policy and benefits Q&A, and team knowledge.
Hands-onBuild an onboarding-checklist generator and a policy-Q&A assistant brief grounded in real documents.
14:30–14:45 · ☕ Coffee break
414:45–16:00People analytics: Engagement, retention signals and workforce planning: with fairness caveats.
Hands-onAnalyse an anonymised engagement/turnover dataset and draft findings with fairness caveats.
516:00–17:00Adoption & compliance plan: Turning it into a governed rollout, including the worker-representative information and consultation duties.
Hands-onBuild an HR AI adoption + compliance plan (use cases mapped to risk level) and a 30-day plan.
